Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation is to enhance, protect and sustain the natural and environmental resources, while fostering and preserving the Cochiti way of life.
OUR GOALS
- Develop and implement management practices that foster cultural resiliency of the Cochiti People.
- Implement management plans to improve and protect the tribe’s natural resources for future generations
- Develop and maintain technical expertise to be able to provide leadership with coherent management options.
- Strive to improve and protect the environment for the future.
